Here’s something inspiring for you… people who are truly experiencing their dreams through hard work and tenacity. I don’t know about you, but I especially feel inspired when that person is young. One of my friends has been following her dreams since elementary school. Her name is Noellia Goodwin, and she’s a rock star. No, literally! Noellia is 14 years old this year and has come together with many other talented people her age to form a band called “IMPAKT.” It’s so awesome, in my opinion.
Noellia’s been working at her skill and building and building for so long. It’s really an inspiration to what that practice of persistence can do for you. Right now, her band is vying to win a spot at the 2012 National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) show in Anaheim, California.
I feel so proud of Noellia! I’ve been working with her mother on her website for three and a half years now, and it’s been a wonderful journey watching her grow up and chase her dreams at remarkable speed. It also helps that she has such a supportive family as well.
So, here is my call to action… Vote! I’m asking my readers to vote for her band at the SchoolJamUSA website. The band with the most votes gets to be considered for the spot at NAMM.

2) Click on “VOTE”
3) Register and get’er’done
4) Draw a star on a piece of paper
5) Get scissors and cut it out
6) Tape it to your shirt, ‘cuz YOU are a SUPER star for voting!
